On arrival at Entebbe international airport, our company driver, will be at hand to warmly welcome you and facilitate you on arrival formalities. He will transfer you to your hotel where you will also be briefed about your trip before check in for overnight.

After your morning breakfast 0700, drive Kampala to Fort Portal through verdant countryside, passing traditional homesteads, farms and Tea Estates. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. The drive takes approximately 5hours.

After a late lunch take a walk in the area to enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Dinner and overnight – at Lodge FB

Today after breakfast, armed with you packed lunch from the lodge and plenty of drinking water, head for Kibale national park so that you are in time for the 08.00 am briefing at the park head office. You will be led by the forest rangers to go tracking chimpanzees. Kibale Forest National Park is reputed to have the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee, our closest relative. Kibale 1450 Chimpanzee represent Uganda’s largest population of this endangered primate. Kibale is also a home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey.

Other primates include the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few. So you will enjoy a guided trek in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild primates, birds and much more.

In the afternoon head for Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. As you go through the game park you might spot some animals. Arrive at the lodge early evening.

Queen Elizabeth National Park¹s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife.

An early morning Game drive will give you the opportunity to view the massive Rwenzori as backdrop, which provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck. Return to the lodge for lunch.

At 1500 hours proceed to the Mweya Peninsula to enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. This launch/cruise offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species. Return to the lodge in the evening.

After breakfast at 0900, head for the gorilla park. Drive via Ishasha sector to spot tree climbing lions. Continue southwards through farm lands and terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park-the northern sector called Buhoma. Have Lunch at the lodge. In the evening take a walk around the lodge to enjoy the forest views and tranquility of its surroundings.

Have breakfast at 0700 report to the park office at 0730 for briefing after which accompanied by guides make your entry into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The rainforest is spectacular, it offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal¹s trails allowing access to tourists. Mammals recorded include the endangered Mt Gorilla, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black-fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and others. This park is best known for the fascinating gorillas. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure. There is always a ranger guide to interpret the Fauna and the Flora. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact.

Return to the lodge late afternoon. Dinner and over-night, at lodge FB.

After breakfast at 0630, embark on a 9 hour drive to Entebbe, with a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photos, then another stop over at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations.

Drive through to Entebbe International airport arriving in time for check in at 1600 hrs. ready for your departure at 1910hrs.
