Itinerary
After your morning breakfast at 0800, the company will be at hand ready to drive you via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and pass traditional homesteads, farms and Tea Estates. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. The drive takes approximately 5 hours.
Have lunch in Fort portal town. Visit the Bigodi Sanctuary in the afternoon, for a guided nature and community visits.
Dinner and overnight, Kyaninga Lodge or Kibale Forest Camp. FB
After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, where the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa is exceptionally represented. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee known to be a delightful ape. It is also a home of species like the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon among others. After lunch head for Kampala on to Entebbe international airport for your home bound flight.
